Ensuring the safety of our community is first priority. We’ve put in place the following new policies to ensure the safety of every patient visit. Please review the below polieis and contact us if you have any questions.
Every person that enters the building must wear a face mask or face covering. We also ask that everyone sanitize their hands. We’re also going to check your temperature and ask a couple screening questions to determine if you’ve experienced any symptoms of a transmissible illness, or come into contact with someone who may have had one recently. Patients who present with a fever or symptoms will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
Every patient room is cleaned and sanitized before each patient. That means that every surface you, a technician, or a physician touches during your exam will be cleaned immediately before you enter the exam room. From the exam chair to the instruments, all surfaces are fresh for you.
Other touch points in the office, like door handles, countertops, and lobby chairs, are sanitized with hospital disinfectant hourly by staff. Physical barriers have also been installed throughout the office to lessen contact.
Employees are following the same guidelines as patients! We check temperatures and ask screening questions daily, require face masks, and maintain social distancing. Employees are encouraged to stay home if they may be ill to keep everyone safe.
Your appointment may take longer than usual due to the extra precautions and cleaning measures we’re taking. We’re sorry about that, but hope you can understand that we’re trying our best to keep all our patients and staff healthy while respecting your time.
