Am I A Candidate?
Dr. Haddad personally evaluates each potential laser vision correction patient to establish the best method of treatment and to determine what procedures they may be a good candidate for.
There are general guidelines to determine who may be a potential candidate:
- You typically wear contacts or glasses
- Your prescription has been relatively stable for at least 1 year
- You are over the age of 18
- You do not suffer from any auto-immune diseases
Often people assume they are not a candidate for laser vision correction due to their prescription. The fact is over 98% of the population are good candidates for laser vision correction, including people who are near-signed, far-signed, and even people with astigmatism.
If you would like to find out if you are a candidate for LASIK or any other vision correction procedure the easiest way is to schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Haddad
